It’s that time of year again when couples are organising their wedding invitations for their special day. As all our wedding stationery is bespoke and handmade, we recommend giving us as much notice as possible to organise your wedding invitations. So when should I order and send my save the dates and/or wedding invitations?
We offer a unique design process which ensures you get to see proofs of your save the dates and invitations before printing commences. We create proofs in your chosen design and personalised wording and these are posted out to your home address to view at your leisure. We want you to be 100% happy with the finished proof before printing so we keep going with the proof process until you give us the go ahead to create the full set of your chosen design.
A popular question that I get asked a lot in appointments is “When should I send my save the dates and invitations out?”.
When to send save the dates and invitations?
We normally recommend sending save the dates around 1 year before the big day and invitations 6-8 months before the big day. Therefore we recommend giving us at least 3 months notice for the proof process and finalising your chosen design (but longer if possible!). We also word the invitations for you making it easier and less stressful for you to organise. We take the stress out of planning your big day ❤️
